The “Summer school” has started its work in our schools. According to the tradition of the year, the courses “Olympic School”,” Research School” (head R. Kairkenova),” summer thematic counseling school “(head G. Kairkhanova),” IELTS for the preparation of MESK for the 11th grade “(Head S. Mazhikov),” Leadership school “(head D. Musina, G. Zhakeeva) were opened for general education schools.
“In addition to these courses, students of grades 7-9 of our school were asked to choose 6 programs. Among them are such areas as “physics around us” (head: Z. Tastambekova), “Wikipedia club” (head: A. Ibragimova), “learning Turkish” (Head:N. Sultaeva), “literature and art-twin concepts” (head: M. Slamzhan), “creative algebra” (head:G. Seitkulova), “art studio” (head: G. Kurmanbayeva, K. Sapargalieva). This year, about 730 students took part in the summer school. They are trained by 136 teachers,” says Dinara Musina, Coordinator of the summer school.
This year’s summer school is different from the previous one, as the “leadership school” was added for the first time. For this purpose, the leaders of general education schools of the city were selected. Over the next 10 days, the course plans to develop students ‘ leadership skills, meet well-known personalities who have achieved success in entrepreneurship, education and other fields.
