Step Forward-2021 Contest Announces New Names

In the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Semey, on April 22-23, 2021, the II Regional Competition of Scientific Projects “Step Forward -2021” was held among students of colleges and schools of the region. The purpose of the competition was to develop the research potential of students in the region through, increase their motivation for research activities and contribute to the formation of the intellectual potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan.


130 projects were presented in the following areas: physics, technology, earth and space sciences, mathematics and applied mathematics, computer science and robotics, economics, biology, chemistry, environmental protection and human health, history, jurisprudence and local history, Kazakh language and literature, Russian language and literature, English language, psychology, social projects. All of them were transferred to an expert commission consisting of school teachers and scientists, professors of universities such as Shakarim University, Nazarbayev University.

As a result, the best were identified, along with diplomas, they were awarded the following nominations: “Excellent start”, “The most creative project”, “The most ambitious project”, “The most promising project”, “The most ecological project”, “The most commercially effective project”, “The most scientific project”, “The most relevant project”, “The most socially significant project”.
