In the hostel of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Semey, a TEDx conference was held on the topic “Tauelsizdik-Erkindigim! among students in grades 7-12 in honor of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This event was also organized jointly with the hostel of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Aktobe.
Gifted children living in the hostels of these schools – Nurai Bagytzhanova, Zhanel Adilkazina, Dayana Urzakanova, Aida Ermekova, Saina Uli, Nurtuleu Orazkanov, Rakhymzhan Bekturkan, Naray Alydzhanovytzhanov, Shirkenaz Baizhianygabyazba, Ikhabil’eva performed on the topics “Biz Tauelsiz Kazakhstannyk zhas Urpakymyz!”, “Tauelsizdikke zhetken zhol”, “The phenomenon of Kazakhstanis” », Respectively, on the Microsoft TEAMS platform.
During the conference, students asked questions, evaluating the speeches of the speakers and supported each other, which further motivated the participants to speak at such conferences. The organizers-educators of the hostels of the two schools G. Dulatova, G. Bekturova, G. Nurlybekova spoke at the end of the event with wishes to the young generation. At the end of the event, all participants performed a karaoke song “Tauelsiz el Orany”. The students who took part in the conference wished to hold such meetings more often.
