“Great Feast of the Great Steppe”. Mainly under the given name was organized the ceremonial event dedicated to the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. Teachers and students learned a lot about the history of the country at a holiday organized on the eve of the 27th anniversary of Independence – the dream of our ancestors, embodied in reality, and the opportunity to become a separate state that raised its shanyrak. As part of celebration of the country’s independence, first of all, we set ourselves the task of instilling in students a sense of dignity and elements of social national existence.
– Our goal is to provide the students with the opportunity to get to know in which way Kazakhstan – our homeland, which has become a safe haven for many nations, has achieved prosperity. That is why we are introducing a new direction, a new trend, having improved our holiday program. Every Kazakhstani, a growing young generation should clearly realize and feel that the concept of “Independence” should always be above all, ” – said artistic director Ruslan Kasenov.
Indeed, this holiday is different from a last year’s holiday. The teachers, through a video in character of Shakarim and Mukhtar appealed to the audience, sharing the life admonition. The choir performed by elementary school students, who took the name of Abai’s song “Kuzіmnіn Karasy”, an ethno-folklore ensemble that performed “Kurogly”, the t orchestra of dombyra players with kuyi “Adai” greatly impressed the audience.
The audience gathered in the assembly hall of our school, enjoyed the national art, listening to the teachings of the great people of our people. Festive dances and songs were performed by such lead singers and dance groups as: ‘Kazagymsyn”, ‘Kazakh yeli osyndai», “Tugan Zher”, “Asyl”, “Samruk». The most significant holiday in the country ended with the universal performance of the anthem of “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”, after which the students promised to contribute to the development of the country through high-quality learning and conscious education.
The celebration of independence was not limited to a concert program. An exhibition of art works made by talented students was organized, and curator hours were devoted to this topic.
