The work of students of NIS Semey became the “Best IT Project”

From June 2 to June 5, the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Aktau hosted the international competition of business projects “CASPIAN STARTUP-2022”. In this competition, the best were the students of the NIS Semey – students of the 11th grade Dayana Amanova and Dayana Makulbaeva.

The competition on the theme of IT startups that improve life was held in the areas of “Tourism”, “School of the Future”, “Solution of Social Problems”.

– The business project of our girls is called QazTour. This is a site that unites all tourist sites in Kazakhstan. Through the site, the tourist can choose a convenient tourist site along the route or region. The itinerary provides information on which mode of transport can be reached (by train, bus, or plane), and tickets can be issued on the spot. Having issued a ticket, the tourist chooses the hotel or holiday home that suits him. The goal of our project is to unite the tourism service sector – a tourist facility, – says the project manager and geography teacher Eszhan Asylbek.

Pupils from Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan took part in the competition. Of the 59 selected business projects, only 16 made it to the final race. “QazTour” is the best final project, highly appreciated by the jury.

The authors of the project were awarded educational grants from “YessenovUniversity” and Atyrau Oil and Gas University.
