Meeting with poets was held in NIS Semey

A group of poets visited the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. The meeting was held in a warm atmosphere. Poets such as Alisher Kydyrbek, Temirlan Temirbay, Yerbolsyn Kasymbek were accompanied by the chairman of the Semey regional branch of the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan, the laureate of the State Youth Prize “Daryn”, the author of collections of poems “Esimin senin”, “Karashyktagy kubylystar” Merey Kart. The schoolchildren liked the evening very much, where deep philosophical words about poetry, poetic art, modern Kazakh literature were heard.

– We gladly accepted the invitation of schoolchildren. Interested in the versatility of the students of this temple of knowledge, including literature. During today’s meeting, many young poets read their works. I am sure that a spiritual evening is something that could at least slightly affect the life of the younger generation, says Merey.

The meeting was attended by the school administration, teachers, students. During the event, schoolchildren asked the poets questions of interest, games were held. A group of students, passionate about poetry, recited the guests’ poems by heart. Children of different nationalities took part in reading the works of poets. At the end of the event, Merey Kart presented his collection of poems “Karashyktagy kubylystar” to students Chingiz Tokanov and Aiym Yerezhepbayeva, and the director of the school, Bagdan Kairzhanov, presented the poets with handmade items as a keepsake.
