Tengiz Ibrayev and Temirzhan Yusupov from Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey have won their next victories. At the 14th annual traditional Zhautykov Olympiad, our team won bronze medals.
More than 500 pupils from 15 countries around the world tested their levels of math, physics and computer science at the International Education Festival in Almaty. 14 students from the Intellectual Schools of the Republic of Kazakhstan competed for the Olympiad, organized for the purpose of development of relations between the countries of the world, promotion of scientific knowledge and strengthening of links between physics and mathematics schools.
– This year’s Olympiad lasted for 2 days. I have been criticized on computer science. I do not want to say that the Olympiad were easy. A total of 10 hours was provided for the settling of the submitted reports. I think I have used this opportunity effectively. As a result, I took the 3 rd place and went to Semey. The bronze medal at the Olympiad opened my way to Nazarbayev University free of charge. After graduating from school, I still have a chance to continue my studies at that university. It is a great honor for me to become a student of our country, “says our student Temirzhan Yusupov.
According to the results of the International Olympiad, students of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools won two gold, two silver and six bronze medals. Tengiz Ibrayev is among the winners besides our schoolboy Temirzhan. He became a bronze medalist at the Physics Olympiad.
The victory of our long-awaited double eagle is an example for their peers and sisters.
