NIS student became the best researcher

Yeskendir Tursynkhan, a 8th grade student of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey, became the “Best Young Researcher”, and his scientific project received copyright.

The project of our student, who received copyright for the development of a mobile application used in the improvement of the schoolyard in the climatic conditions of the Abai region, was supervised and supported by a biology teacher, candidate of biological sciences, associate professor A. Kydyrmoldina and a computer science teacher A. Tayapbergenova. Information about the types of ornamental plants in our region and how to grow them, which is the object of research of the project, can be obtained using a QR code in the Tilda website constructor, and information can be shared through the MIT App Inventor mobile application.

Anyone can use the mobile application to turn their yard or cottage into a green oasis, and it will also be useful for housing and communal services specialists involved in the improvement of the city.

Recall that this project of Yeskendir was highly appreciated at the recent international scientific-practical conference for students and young scientists “Science and youth: discoveries and prospects”, which was held in Astana. Our student was awarded the Best Young Researcher nomination.
