Robotic team “SGMZ” from Semey will go to Germany

The robotics team of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics “SGMZ” in Semey won a ticket to the World Robot Olympiad WRO-2022, which will be held in November this year in the German city of Dortmund.

The team included such intellectuals as Ismail Mukhamedyarov and Zhantoly Muratkaliyev. The guys deservedly received vouchers for a training camp in the city of Nur-Sultan.

-Despite the fact that this is a training camp, it brought together the best robotics of the republic. Ismail and Zhantoly performed various tasks for 4 days and proved their skills and mobility in front of the jury. As a result, they took the 2nd place and got the opportunity to test their strength at the world level, – says the coach of the “SGMZ” team, subject teacher Bakytbek Orynbaev.
