A graduate of NIS Semey will become a member of the Ivy League

A student of the 12th grade of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey, Delilah Gafar, received an invitation from the University of Pennsylvania USA, a member of the Ivy League. Students and teachers are happy for Delilah, because it is a special pride and honor to get into one of the oldest universities in the USA.

Delilah is one of the best students of our school. Planning to link her future with the field of law and business, she dreamed of getting an education at a world-class higher education institution.

– Like my other peers, I have applied to many educational institutions where they teach the specialty I need for the future. The vast majority of the best universities are educational institutions located in the states of the USA and Canada. The first of them was an invitation from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. This educational institution has a special specialty “Fundamentals of law and Business ethics” (legal studies and business ethics), covering the areas of law and business. This is my chosen profession. After completing my bachelor’s degree, I want to continue my studies in my specialty. In addition, I intend to gain experience as a lawyer in the USA, – says the pride of the school.

Ivy League universities are distinguished by the high quality of education. Among them are Brown, Harvard, Dartmouth College, Yale, Columbia, Cornell, Pennsylvania and Princeton Universities.
