Student of NIS Semey took a prize at the Asian Championship

Malika Asemkhanova, a 7th grade student of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Semey, won a silver medal at the 5th Asian Championship in togyzkumalak.

About 150 athletes from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, India, China, Mongolia, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Russia and Uzbekistan took part in the 5th Asian Championship in Aktobe.

– I have been playing our national game since I was 7 years old. I love that it helps develop a person’s thinking ability. At the same time, every victory inspires me. My parents brought me to togyzkumalak and it is to them that I dedicate my victory. I believe that it was thanks to them that I reached this level. I have a lot of plans ahead, – says our student.

Malika has already participated in competitions of various levels. Over the years, she won prizes at republican competitions. As a result, in 2017 she was awarded the category “Candidate Master of Sports”.
