The Content Hub project is one of the best

Our city hosted the “Meet up” competition as part of the “Momentum: Entrepreneurship for Girls” project. “Meet up” is an immersion in the entrepreneurial environment, a two-day event, which was attended by about 60 girls aged 14 to 18 from the city of Semey. They represented 16 teams.


The Momentum project is aimed at developing entrepreneurial thinking, increasing interest in entrepreneurship, developing interpersonal skills of participants, and is implemented by the Association of Friends of the Tel Aviv University of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the US Embassy in Kazakhstan in partnership with the Kazakh Humanitarian and Legal Innovative University.


A team of students from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Semey also took part in this competition. It consisted of 10th grade pupils Nurai Abylkassymova, Aidana Yerlankyzy, Alim Babakpayev and Dayana Makulbaeva. Having presented their own idea called “Content Hub”, the students won the third place and a special prize of the jury members, receiving a prize of 50 thousand tenge.


The Content HUB project is a modern studio for coworking, photo and video. The students together developed a business plan for the project, determining the relevance of this niche in the market, potential customers, financial and marketing parts. The girls’ project is designed to develop the creativity of youth. According to the students, they have already found an investor and a company for cooperation, so they will soon launch their own business.
