Semey.09.09. “Semeyainasy” – Today, throughout the city, in the framework of the Festival of Health, there were mass sports events. The students of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools also stayed on.
More than 500 pupils from 8th to 12th grades, as well as parents, took part in the warm-up and the race. After the end of all physical sports exercises, the participants of the action held a flashmob, during which the word “sport” was folded by the forces of the children and parents.
Larisa Abylkasymova, deputy director for educational work: “Today the in-school network sports contest starts, which will be held throughout the school year. The school has a tradition – every Saturday we hold a sports day. Teachers and pupils come in sports uniforms, we organize competitions at the changes, etc. On Saturdays at school the atmosphere of sports spirit reigns. The purpose of the event is to create a spirit of unity through sport. Today, sport gives a lot to man. Being an athlete you can reach heights in different spheres of activity”.
Mukhit Tursynov, one of the titled Kazakhstani wrestlers, winner of “Kazakhstan Barysy – 2014” came to school on this day to wish him victories and sport achievements.
It should be noted that today all 20 schools of NIS in Kazakhstan hold a Sports Day at the same time.
