Give warmth to the older generation

On October 1, 2020, the world celebrates the International Day of Older Persons for the thirtieth time. This is the day when we can express all our love, respect and reverence for older people, surrounding with the attention of our grandparents and parents. The older generation continues with the young, and makes its unlimited contribution to the education and formation of all the best qualities in youth. Older people need our care, attention and care.

Due to the current situation with the Covid-19 pandemic, the elderly are at risk, which has made this group of people extremely vulnerable. That is why our responsible approach to this problem, that is, protecting the older generation from the virus and taking care of them are the main goals for today.

There are many ways to express gratitude to your grandparents. Call, visit, make a gift with your own hands, help financially, write a poem, dance or play your favorite instrument. Do good to all older people, because not everyone can have children or grandchildren, and there are a lot of such people. Appreciate the time spent with your grandparents, appreciate the advice you receive from them, and always remember that the younger generation is the hope of the older and is loved by them.

As part of the development of the volunteer movement, I and the participant of the Elbasy Medal project congratulated lonely pensioners, including Zoya Petrovna, Nazikha Khadzhievna and an elderly couple – Abaykhan Suleimenovich and Maria Temirgalievna. During the congratulations, sweet presents, postcards, medical masks were presented, and favorite pieces were played on the dombra. The congratulated pensioners were deeply touched not so much by the gifts, but by the attention from our side. And what could be more valuable than attention?
