The “VICTORY Tree” campaign dedicated to the older generation

In honor of the 75th anniversary of VICTORY in the World War II, the network of volunteer teachers’ club of “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools “NIS Teachers Volunteers” organized a “VICTORY Tree” campaign as a result of which more than 80 seedlings of various trees were planted. Thus, the participants expressed their gratitude to the older generation, who during the war years fought bravely for a bright future.

“The Kazakh people have a good wise saying: “The more mountains move away, the more they rise.” We always remember those who went into mortal combat for the peaceful future of their homeland, those who selflessly worked in the rear providing the front, those who rebuilt the country after a devastating war. These days will never be forgotten. Our duty is to save the world achieved at such a price! Due to the emergency situation in the country, everyone celebrated the 75th anniversary of the Victory separately. With this in mind, our volunteer club invited Nazarbayev Intellectual schools to plant seedlings, which will be, as it were, a symbol of the VICTORY, a symbol of the peaceful construction, a memory of the great feat of our people. I think that by expressing gratitude to the older generation, we thereby instill in the younger generation a sense of patriotism, citizenship and concern for the environment. The participants of the Victory Tree Campaign responded from different regions of our country”, said the Head of the network volunteer club “NIS Teachers Volunteers” – Zhazira Kurmanova.

The campaign lasted several days. During this time, they showed activity and planted seedlings of various trees (chestnut, hawthorn, spruce, larch, apple tree and many other species). The campaign was attended by such teachers as G. Kurmanbayeva, Z. Orazgaliyeva, Zh. Tokenova, I. Baimuratova, D. Orazbayeva, Zh. Kurmanova, G. Dulatova from the city of Semey, N. Aliyev from the city of Atyrau, A. Nakupov from the city of Nur-Sultan, M. Mukanova from the city of Almaty and 11 B grade student – Kiyakbayev from the city of Karaganda.
