The purpose of a theater club is not only to develop and train the children’s speech and disclose their acting talent, but also to instill the stage culture. “Dos” drama club, functioning in Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey, is a place that allowed many creative teenagers who love art to spread their wings. By joining the club, the students present to audience the various socially important stage performances. Our students even take part in multi-level contests, where they win a lot of prizes. For example, our student Ansagan Serikovna won a gold medal in the section “Emphatic speech” in the republican “Urker” art and education contest held recently in our city.
– The aim of the contest is to support the President’s program “Spiritual Revival” and popularize it among adolescents and young people. The applicants who were grouped according to age into the following groups: “Young”, “Ulager”, “Argymak”, “Tulpar”, tested their strength in pop vocals, traditional songs, instrumental performance, dance, craft and visual arts, stage performances and managed to prove who the best were. Ansagan met our hope and defended the honor of our school. I was sure that she would become a winner. Because she often participates in such events, ” – said Dastan Kaseinov, the head of the theater “Dos”.
Currently, Ansagan studies in grade 9 in our school. The girl who felt in love with poetry has learnt by heart 135 works of Abay and Shakarim. Several years ago she took part in the traditional reading of the works of Abay and Shakarim and won the first place at the regional level, and the 3rd place within the oblast.
– I love to read poetry since childhood. The love for poetry led me to study the works of great personalities. Sometimes when I get inspiration, I write poems by myself. I think that I was able to read the poem well on the stage, because I specifically chose for the competition a work of Mukhtar Shakhanov entitled “The Theory of Understanding,”- said the student. Ansagan, who managed to win the hearts of the jury with her talent, was awarded with a gold medal and certificate of merit, and coach Dastan Sovetuly was awarded with diploma.
