“The best gifted student” studies at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. A 10th grade student Ayaulym Khamitkhanova was recognized as worthy of this title at the republican forum organized by the National Innovation Research Center “Bilim-Orkenieti”.
– About 50 students from different parts of the republic were selected for the forum. All of them not only excel in their studies, but also actively participate in public life. I presented a portfolio of my scientific works from various competitions, olympiads, and also provided information about public school and extracurricular activities. As a result of the forum, I was recognized as the “Best Gifted Student” and was awarded a diploma of the 1st degree and a special badge, – says the winner.
The winner of the network Olympiad in history, the author of the project “QazUp-test for determining the vocabulary of the Kazakh language” Ayaulym, as a volunteer, conducts classes to prepare children from low-income families.
– Providing material assistance to low-income families, we found out that children from such families have poor academic performance, and they cannot attend special training centers. With this in mind, together with our contemporaries, we created a volunteer club “Helping corner”. Through the ZOOM platform, we teach Kazakh, English and mathematics to primary school students for free. Now we have more than 100 children from the Abai region and East Kazakhstan region, – says our student.
The Helping corner club currently employs about 30 volunteers. Every day they conduct lessons in accordance with the school curriculum.
