Grade 11 students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey Magzhan Serikbekov and Dias Maratov won first place in the International Scientific Competition “Opening the World of Science”.
In the final stage of the competition, organized by the Republican Scientific and Practical Center “Daryn” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, 116 scientific projects were presented, including 47 team and 69 individual works. In the section “Ecology and space activities” our guys defended the project (“Restoration of the Earth’s ozone layer”).
The relevance of the joint project of Magzhan and Dias is that the guys presented in the form of a layout a new theoretical idea for a method for restoring the ozone layer on earth.
– Science project dedicated to punching, environmental impact and ozone recovery. The Kaz-Ozono-SMJSM-ozonator plant produces Ozone. Gaseous Ozone, produced from the Kaz-Ozono-SMJSM ozonator, through an ozone pipe coated with carbon materials, transports the gas through a high-pressure compressor using a Lockheed Martin airship at an altitude of 30-50 kilometers to a smaller part of the stratosphere with a lower ozone concentration, our experts note.
The winners were awarded diplomas of the 1st degree of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a gold medal.
