Intellectual school in Semey has started the distance learning.

From April 6, 2020, 626 children from “Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey” like other educational institutions of the country switched to distance learning. 123 teachers of our school have started teaching online.

“Using online technologies, we have developed the modern approaches to the state education standard. The distance learning for our students is conducted via Microsoft Teams program. With the help of this program, special online learning classes for students are opened, where students will take classes in basic subjects. The students have the opportunity to receive individual consultations. From March 30 to April 2 this year, the trial distance learning classes were held at our school. During the trial lesson, all teachers and students of our school simultaneously joined the Teams platform.

While our teachers shared distance learning recommendations, our curators ensured that all students participated in these lessons. The school administration during distance learning also observed on the Teams platform and provided consultations”, said the school Principal Bagdan Kaiyrzhanov.

The classes were created in all subjects via Microsoft Teams application, where you can see the tasks loaded for independent work, the schedule for completing the tasks, resources, as well as the results of the checked works, and feedback from the teacher.

A call center has been opened to provide psychological assistance to students, for the effective implementation of curriculum, and to support teachers,.

“Today it was the first online lesson. Earlier, the school director held an online meeting for parents and we received answers to many questions that concerned us. Thanks to pre-arranged online consultations for parents, we easily took the first class. Each subject teacher correctly explained the requirements for each lesson. However, I believe that each student should feel responsibility, and parents should control the activities of their children,” said the parent Nurgul Sadykova.

Our main task is to create conditions for children during distance learning. Therefore, educators and parents should jointly contribute to a common goal.
