Yerkebulan Imanbayev is admitted to New York University in Abu Dhabi.

Yerkebulan Imanbayev is one of the best students of “Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey”, a multiple winner of the Republican, Network Subject Olympiads after graduation will become a student of New York University in Abu Dhabi.

Yerkebulan achieved such heights thanks to his knowledge. He handed in the necessary documents online and recently, at the invitation of this university, he visited Abu Dhabi for four days.

“Among the documents sent via Common Application portal were the indicators of my performance, achievements and essays. During my trip to Abu Dhabi, the qualified professors observed the students from all over the world, including me. They drew attention to how we behave in society, and how we interact with students from other countries. We also attended the classes given by the teachers of this educational institution. Soon after, I received s reply that I could become a student at New York University in Abu Dhabi. I want to take this opportunity and continue my higher education there,” said our student.

Yerkebulan is fluent in English. According to him, the efforts made on learning English from the second grade were not in vain. In November last year, he passed the IELTS exam at 8.5 out of 9.0 points. By participating at various school events, network and republican English Olympiads, over the past three years he has been winning the prizes. And now he has received an invitation from a higher educational institution, which takes the 28th place in the world ranking.

The New York University campus opened in Abu Dhabi in 2010. The Branches of this university are in different parts of the world. Another feature of studying at this university is that a student can choose one of them during four years of study. Yerkebulan plans to do chemical engineering in the future and make contribution to the science.
