The winners of the Nauryz meeting

In the framework of the Year of Youth, the IX Nauryz meeting of the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” took place recently in Kyzylorda city. This year the meeting was organized on the theme “Cosmos. Science. Intelligence”. More than 200 students, who are curious about science, gathered at the scientific site of the young scientists. Kyrymbek Kosherbayev, akim of the Kyzylorda region, as well as the pride of Kazakhstan, our batyr-pilots Toktar Aubakirov, Talgat Musabayev and Aydin Aiymbetov took part in the event. The representatives of the well-known NASA agency and SpaceX Company – Michael Lukomski and Pravin Pratapan, an employee of the European Cosmonaut Training Center – Igor Drozdovsky gave lectures on the Nauryz meeting this year. The young scientists who took part in the event presented about 80 papers on various topics.
Among students, all four of our students who presented their projects, were highly appreciated by the jury. The joint work of 10 “A” grade students – Khamza Bertisbayev and Adil Serik took the 2nd place with the project named “The house of the future” (supervisor – Andakayeva A.N.). 10 “C” grade student, Alisher Sabigaliev – the project “A cosmic shower” (scientific leaders N.V.Boyko and A.I.Pashkevich) and 12 “E” grade student, Damir Mynbayev -the project “The moon is a hub for future space exploration” (scientific supervisor – Mamadilova Z.K.) took the 3rd place.
“I spent the whole year for this project. The main reason for choosing this topic in the field of celestial bodies is that today there are very few projects on space exploration, although this is very relevant. In addition, I am very interested in space. While participating in the Nauryz meeting, we were able to talk freely with the astronauts of our country and listen to their fascinating stories. My next goal is to continue this project in the future”, says Damir Mynbayev.
Thus, our students initiated new scientific discoveries, opening for themselves the opportunity to present their projects at the global level in the future.
