The winner of the debate tournament “Gumyr”

Students of the 8th grade of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey Ummigulsim Zhabagieva and Aysultan Murzagazin won the first place in the city debate tournament among students of grades 8-11 “New Day-New Kazakhstan”. More than 20 teams took part in the debate tournament.

– The tournament is based on the current Message of our president, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to the people of Kazakhstan. The young debaters shared their opinions on the issues and main topics voiced in the message. The participants of the debate were given only half an hour to prepare. Thanks to their knowledge and skills, reasoned answers, our students showed themselves on the positive side, – says the history teacher, the head of the students, Daniyar Kemeshev.

The winning team of the school “Gumyr” was awarded a diploma from the city Department of Education, the head was awarded a letter of Thanks.
