May 25 is a special day for all secondary education institutions in the country. This is the day when the next academic season ends and the last call for schoolchildren. The last call this year is a historic event for the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. The reason is that the first graduates, who graduated from the 12th grade this year, will have a great life.
Overall, 693 students graduated from our school in the 7th-12th grade this year. The number of school-leavers is 138 children. Five of them are nominated for “Altyn Belgi”, and 29 are candidates for “Special Certification”.
Today, 14 graduates have won grants from foreign and domestic educational institutions. International Business University, International University of Information Technology, KIMEP University, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Baptist University in Hong Kong, New York University in Abu Dhabi, University of Lille Merim, University of Toronto, Saint Petersburg National Institute of Information Technology, Mechanics and Optics There are educational institutions. In addition, we can say that already 34 of our graduates have become Nazarbayev University students.
This last call is timed to the program of President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s “Spiritual Rebirth” as well as the 20th anniversary of the Astana, the 10th anniversary of the AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”. Deputy Mayor of Semey Nadezhda Sharova, First Deputy Chairman of the Nur Otan branch of the Nur Otan Party, Zulfiya Zhamaltdinova, a member of the Semipalatinsk City Maslikhat, took part in the final rally. They also wished the students and their families a warm welcome. Zulfiya Fazylzhanovna, in her turn, gave a letter of gratitude to the director of the school Bagdan Kairzhanov for the active participation in the social and political life of the country.
– Although the graduation is a great moment for everyone, we have a sense of similarity. Today I feel clear that it’s been a long time since 12 years. Thanks to our golden school, we thank our teachers. Thanks to them we have achieved the highest peaks of knowledge. I wish good luck to my friends, “says Dastan Bekov, a graduate of the current year.
In the course of the event students, teachers who have achieved good results in education and art, sports and creativity were awarded during the academic season and a concert program of pupils was presented.
