Schoolgirl from Semey won a grant from the Higher School of Economics in the Russian Federation

In Semey, a 12th grade student of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics Elzhana Oralgazieva won a grant from the Higher School of Economics of the National Research University of Russia. At the same time, she considers proposals from other top universities in the world.


Elzhana is a leader not only in her studies, but also in social work. She actively participates in public events. Thanks to her talent, she spent the 2019-2020 academic year in the United States on the Future Leaders Exchange (FLEX) program. But the time has come to choose a profession.


– I took part in the international youth Olympiad organized by this university and took second place in English. It is clear that my success was achieved thanks to the hard work of the subject teachers. Thanks to this grant, I have the opportunity to study in Moscow, – said Elzhana.


In addition, Elzhana participated in the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program and took 9th place, although there were about 700 applicants. Now she is waiting for the next stage. Elzhana admitted that she wants to connect her future with business and education and has already sent documents to well-known universities in the USA, Hong Kong and Turkey.


“I received an invitation from the University of Hong Kong. However, I haven’t decided yet. I still have time to consult with my parents and come to a definite decision, ”she said.
