Distance learning is not an obstacle for Semey intellectuals. To continue the daily education, they found a new way to maximize their free time. The students recently conducted an online “Kui Tartys”.
Tartys is an ancient tradition of Kazakh kui performers, dombra players’ competition, in which the participants perform the famous kuis during solo performance, competing in the brilliance and beauty of the interpretations.
“A prerequisite for each student of “Nazarbayev Intellectual School” is to play dombra. The special project “100 kuis” is being successfully implemented to promote our national instrument and art. By involving children in the project, we want not only to teach the student how to play dombra, but also to tell about the history of the origin of this kui, the person who wrote it, as well as the biography and work of kui author. In connection with the current emergency, we organized this competition in order not to forget what we had learned before”, said Madiyar Ashirov, the Head of the dombra club.
There were many students who wanted to take part in the dombra competition. 7th grade students were particularly active. In particular, Darkhan Oralkhanov, Ulan Talgatov, Sagynysh Saylaubekov, despite the fact that they mastered dombra relatively recently, the students showed a good result. A 9th grade student, Adlen Rollanuly was chosen as a role model for his younger brothers. Not so long ago, Adlen took part in the final stage of the Republican children’s creativity contest and took the 3rd place.
“When I heard about the competition of dombra players, I immediately supported this idea. In my opinion, the distant communication cannot become an obstacle in dombra competitions. On the contrary, we win a lot. Remembering what we have learned, we replenish the baggage of our knowledge. I urge you not to miss this event”, said Adlen Rollanuly.
This time, the young rivals took turns by playing Kurmangazy kui “Adai”. In the near future we plan to attract other students to continue this kind of competition. Our students can already perform the famous kuis such as “Adai”, “Balbyrauyn” Kurmangazy, “Kosalka”, “Kerogly” Dauletkerei, “Tor Zhorga” Abay.
