University of Melbourne offers a scholarship for foreign students of a bachelor degree. Every year 50 students can receive the grant. All bachelor degree programs of the university take part in the scholarship program.
The scholarship maybe of three types:
1.1000$ payment for training in the first year of training on the program of a bachelor degree;
2. 50 % payment of the training cost during all period of training on the program of a bachelor degree;
3. 100 % payment of the training cost during all period of training on the program of a bachelor degree.
Requirements to candidates:
The candidates may apply for the scholarship, who:
* Are not citizens of Australia and New Zealand and permanent residents of these countries;
* Have received the unconditional offer to be trained on one of programs of a bachelor degree of University of Melbourne;
* Earlier were not trained in higher educational institutions;
* Have left school with excellent marks, for example:
1. Mark 4 is A in GCE A Levels
2. ATAR mark is 99.9 in Australian program Year 12 program,
3. The general score of 98 % in “an approved Foundation program”
4. Mark 44 in an International Baccalaureate (IB) program;
There is no need to make an application for receiving the given scholarship. All students who have received the unconditional offer to be trained on one of programs of a bachelor degree of University of Melbourne automatically become the candidates for receiving a scholarship.
The university has founded 5 selection rounds with the certain quantity of grants for each round:
1. For students who wish to begin training from 1, or 2 semester: November, December, or January;
2. For students who wish to begin training from 2 semester: April and May.
