“We moved to Semey for entering the Intellectual School,” – said an aksakal, thinking about the future of his granddaughter. Bekkali Akhmetkaliuly moved to the city from Abay district this year. The main reason is to transfer his granddaughter to Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. Today, the dream of Danara Bekkali, a 6th grade student of school №8, is to become a student of this school. A student with mathematical ability got interested in Mathematics from the lower grades.
– I have great hope for my granddaughter. Since she went to school, she has a special interest in Mathematics. She is currently busy with preparing to enter your school. She also speaks English very well. Her academic performance is excellent. Having heard about school’s open door day, we immediately decided to come. It is obvious that studying in such a school, which we even could not dream of in our time, is the dream for every child. Having seen that all conditions are created for children, we are overwhelmed with feelings of joy. This is a place where there is no need to worry about anything other than to acquire knowledge”, – shared his opinion aksakal Bekkali.
Open Day for 6th grade students of secondary schools, held at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey, was spent as a holiday. In the assembly hall of the school, specially prepared videos about the school were shown, and a group of volunteers from schoolchildren and teachers organized a school tour. During the tour, the students were provided with additional information about school life, library, sport gym, gyms, robotics’ room, canteen, and various elective course by interest.
– I really like the school. Especially, I am deeply interested in the library, gym and robotics’ room. I am particularly impressed by the large selection of different books, their location and variety of topics. I want to study at this school. Now I have been preparing to pass the test successfully. I am confident in myself”, – said Aidana Khasen, a school guest.
Having inspired by the open day, the students promised to achieve their goals at all costs, since the Intellectual School is always ready to accept every talented and gifted child.
