“From heart to heart” inclusive project

Each person is individual, because each person is special and his heart is full of secrets and mysteries. One of these people are students of a boarding school for the hearing-impaired children of Semey. A meeting of these children with 9 “A”, 7 “D”, 9 “L” grade students of “Zhidebai” shanyrak was organized. Having met them, we familiarized them with the life of the students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School.
The children noted that their school is very similar to our school and they were surprised at how huge it is. In order to increase such qualities as morality, friendship, respect for relatives and younger ones, we played a game called “Impulse”, where our hearts beat in one rhythm. At the end of the game, the students were divided into three groups: 1 group – “Sheber”, 2 group – “ART” 3D, 3 group – “Pottery workshop”. Each group was satisfied with the New Year’s toys, which the children made themselves. At the end of the trip to our school, the children received as a gift paints with wishes to flourish creatively. The children shared their impressions of the day through a written reflection, which was organized in the form of the sun. The wonderful, sincere hearts and wishes of the children showed that they would look forward to our next meeting. Some of them tried to express their gratitude and opinion, some expressed their desire to thank us in English. Next time we hope to teach children English words. After listening to the secrets of the children and seeing the joy on their faces, our friendship became even stronger. Having met with school life, the children opened the door to a new world.
Indeed, the desire to understand each other is more than anything else. Despite the fact that the children could not fully hear and understand everything, they tried to listen with such attentiveness and supported us, which deeply touched our hearts.
Thanks to this meeting, children could feel that all children are equal.
