A summer school called Super Summer with Superheroes began its work

Every year, on the basis of the NIS of Semey, a summer school opens its doors to the students of the school. This year, too, was no exception, according to the idea of the creative group and volunteers, this summer’s summer school is called “Super summer with superheroes”. This name traces the expectations of the students, since young people are interested in comics, and also by the statement of the creative group, attention will be paid to all the heroes, both national Kazakh and the heroes of other nationalities. Every day of the summer school, has its own theme, which will be traced through all lessons and activates throughout the day. On the first day at the opening of the summer school the students got acquainted with the direction of the summer school. In total, 428 students from grades 7-11 received applications from the summer school, who wished to increase their knowledge, have fun in creative pursuits, discover their potential, expand their horizons by participating in various forms of activities. Within the summer school courses were opened, which most interested students. In the first half of the day, students attend academic courses: Robotics, SAt Mathematics, SAT Physics, SAT Biology, Food Chemistry, MUN, IELTS, Reading for fun, Active English “, Debates in the Kazakh language,” Development of Web sites “,” The World of Fiction “,” Magic Psychology “,” Design Thinking “, and then attend creative courses on interests:” Beauty-club “,” Arabic”,” Green tehnologies “,” Masters “,” Modern dances “,” Military-patriotic club “,” Gym “, basketball, volleyball, football,” Development of Android applications “,”Cookery “,” Auto deal “, GIN. In these courses, students not only increase knowledge of the subject, but also master vital skills that help to individualize and form them as individuals. Students in the upper grades choose subjects that will help them in the future when taking exams, and also to enrich the vocabulary by language. And students of lower grades choose subjects that deepen their knowledge in the subjects of chemistry, physics. There is no evaluation on the courses, only motivation is present, which is very pleasing to the students. Interests and passions of students are in the first place of the entire school community.
The opening of the summer school in the style of superheroes will be remembered by many, because the students showed a scene from a movie that they liked, having transformed it in their own way.
At the leadership hour held with the participation of foreign teachers was given the task of 17 groups, to come up with the original name of the team, the original chip and motto. And also the students painted their flag of distinction, at the contest “The best flag”. According to the results of the contest, the jury selected the winners, dividing the following places among them: 1-place “MUN 1”, 2nd place was occupied by a team of students “Debates in the Kazakh language”, 3-place “MUN 2”, 4th place “SAT mathematics” .
Days of the summer school “Super summer with superheroes” are planned so that everyone was interested, did not look like one another and stayed in memory for a long time. Organizers and students hope that a fascinating journey into the world of fun and joy awaits us, and the weather will give us excellent summer days to fulfill our plans.
