Significant steps have been taken to strengthen the Kazakh state as an independent state, with the goal of integrating the Kazakh people as a nation, and the country’s aspiration to meet the modern trends. Taking into account the spiritual revival of the people, a number of works are underway to study the history of Tarlan. Historical and cultural monuments and facilities were renovated in the country.
Historical and cultural monuments are, in Semipalatinsk, April 18 – a literary and informative evening “Historical monuments – the value of the nation” was organized in honor of International Day of Protection of Monuments and Sites. The festive event, which took place in the regional museum of local history, was organized with the support of the city department of culture and language development, the hostel of Nazarbayev Intellectual School.
In the history of the world celebration of the celebration of this holiday, in 1984, the Assembly of the International Monuments and Sites Council (UNESCO) was established on April 18. Today, this organization includes 175 countries. The number of historical and cultural monuments across the country is more than 25,000. There are 67 historical and cultural monuments of republican and local significance attached to the state in Semipalatinsk. 32 of them are urban planning and architecture, 16 – monumental art, 19 – historical monuments. According to the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 21, 2008, 7 monuments are included in the list of national historical heritage.
– The buildings and monuments are an inseparable part of our history, which is a source of information about the history of the sacred people of Semipalatinsk. This is a source of culture that cognates and educates the younger generation. The main purpose of our literary and informative evening is to acquaint the younger generation with our historical values, to respect the historical monuments and cultural heritage, – said the organizer of the event Saltanat Mukatayeva.

Students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics participated in the cognitive event in order to familiarize today’s youth with the historical and cultural sites, architectural monuments of the region, their respect and study, and read poems by Abai.
