Honor and dignity NIS of the physics and mathematics of Semey glorifies not only the pupils of the school, but also graduates. For example, a graduate of 2016 Alpamys Maylybayev took part in the IV International Olympiad in Mathematics on the basis of the Military Engineering Institute of Radio Electronics and Communication among cadets of higher educational institutions of the CIS countries and took the second place. Teams from 7 CIS member states – Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and the Russian Federation – took part in the international olympiad. The main objective of the Olympiad, held under the direct supervision of the Chairman of the Council of Defense Ministers of the CIS member states – the Defense Minister of the Russian Federation, General-Army S. Shoigu and the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel-General S. Zhasuzakov, pay much attention to the qualitative training of officers, training military specialists, stimulate creative abilities and the formation of scientific, faculty, professional development and improving the methodology of teaching lectures in higher military educational institutions. Cadets took part in the competitions in 3 stages. The graduate of Nazarbayev intellectual school of physical and mathematical direction Semey cadet 2 course Alpamys Maylybayev took part in the team of the Institute of Radio Electronics and Communication of the Military Engineering Institute. As part of the team, he led his team to 2nd place. In this regard, the head of the institute, Colonel Askar Mustabekov, thanked the parents of Alpamys and the NIS team in Semei. The Institute staff is sure that Alpamys will become a worthy officer of the Kazakh army.
