The first step is full of prey

Students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey were delighted with their success. Three winners of the International Festival of Contemporary Art and Education “Triumph of the Great Steppe”, organized by the creative center “Urker” in our city, have seen the victory. The contest, uniting young talents from 6 to 23 years, was launched within the framework of the program of the President Nursultan Nazarbayev “Towards the Future: Spiritual Renewal”.
The competition lasted for 2 days and the applicants competed in 10 nominations. Among them, the 11th grade pupil of our school Akbota Askarbek performed in the category “Traditional songs”, the 8th grade pupil Takhmina Marlen, the 9th grade pupil Dilnaz Kapezova performed in the category “Pop vocal”.
It is worth noting that all of our students are on the big stage for the first time if they are not schoolchildren. In spite of their shortcomings, they all defended the honor of school. This is probably a talent.
Even Takhmina Marlen is just learning to play dombra. Nevertheless, shortly after being taught by his teacher Kuanysh Akhmetbekuly, she is not only learned to engage in dombyra, but also won the second place in the song “In The Mountain” by Saken Seifullin, one of the Kazakh intellectuals of the last century. Akbota Askarbekkizi won the first place in folk song “Dudar-ai”. The third candidate Dilnaz Kapezova took the 2nd place in her nomination. The winners were awarded with the corresponding gold and silver medals from the organizers. In addition, Kuanysh Akhmetbekuly and Ruslan Kasenov won the title of “Best Leader”, which opened the way for gifted students.
The school principal Bagdan Kairzhanov congratulated the pupils and teachers on the holiday and congratulated them on their victories. He also wished them further successes.
