The celebration of the anniversary of the dormitory of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey was solemnly named “We are 1 year old!”. The purpose of the event was to showcase the achievements of the dormitory in a year, to give them a festive mood, to share the common family happiness, to invite collaboration.
At present, the school administration, staff, parents, and schoolchildren attended the dormitory’s birthday. The festive music program, consisting of several parts, gave spectators a good mood. Dormitory educators, who have come up with a great readiness for the birth, presented the videos prepared by the pupils of the school corridor to the celebration, the artworks from their families, and the photo-exhibition and circle. Aida Taitoleu, Almara Serikhan, Kuralai Oryngaliyeva and Makhabbat Moldakhanova are designing in their personal exhibition. The event also contributed to our parents, as a result of which the exhibition of works by Nursulu Kartabayeva, mother of Dana Gabdulkarimovna, mother of Nuray Zhumakhanova Ainur Seisebayeva was opened.
– Every pupil treats the dormitory as his second home. And here they have all the conditions for their home. There is no restriction on our children’s freedom to move freely, without barren education, healthy lifestyle, and sports. On the contrary, I would like to mention that we are actively involved in effective leisure activities. In our hostel, there are various clubs, depending on the agility of each child. Among them are expressive reading, handicrafts, masterpieces, deeper studying of English language, participation of students in sports sections with special interest. In addition, the magazine “NIS Times”, which provides for the development of creative abilities of the pupils, reflects on the history of the dormitory. Today’s holiday is a good mood and we are ready for it. There are no students left out of this celebration. Everyone participates equally and participates in the impressive performance of our cognitive program. I can say that working with talented children is interesting for every tutor in the dormitory, “says Kalzhan Omarbaeva, head of the dormitory.
Indeed, witnessing tonight’s night shows that all the children in the dormitory work together as one. For example, a group of pupils freely come to the audience and collects warm notes from guests, while some of them have been staged in an English-language event by legendary protagonist Aldar Kosse in the Kazakh folklore. That is to say that students in the dormitory will be performing their acting skills in a social project – puppet theater.
The evening party was filled with sections such as “Sport life”, “My Dormitory Day” and others. Due to the birthday of the dormitory, the director of the school Bagdan Toktamysuly and all the employees of the branch sent a warm greetings. Certainly, after the holidays, it is quite natural that the beautiful song and the splendor of the song are scattered. And there are a lot of students who are inclined to this art in the dormitory. That’s what they sang in the program, danced. Different games were played together with the guests.
The festive program, which lasted about an hour, was one of the most enjoyable evenings for a long time. At the end of the evening, parents spoke and thanked the school administration and the staff of the dormitory.

Zhansaya Galymova, 7 grade:
The dormitory is like our second home. We spend most of our time after classes. All children participated in the celebration of our dormitory one year. They thanked parents and guests for their talents. New young talents have been recognized. For example: children played guitar and amazed spectators with their works. Grade 7 students did not even look at the puppet theater, helping to celebrate the anniversary with unusual, memorable moments. Laura Oralkhanova presented the exhibition at the dormitory, Alua Ilyasova and Manap Bolatbekov told about the days in the hostel. After that, a buffet was held in honor of the Dormitory Day. I am glad that there are many talented children in the dormitory. In my opinion, this day will be forever in the minds of all students and guests.
Ansagan Serikovna, pupil of the 8th form:
Dormitory. It’s been one year since we were children of this great house. On the threshold of the celebration there was a party “We are celebrating 1 year”. I have a great deal about this celebration. The pupils of the dormitory not only gave us a good mood, but also impressed with the beautiful dance. I would like to thank all those who gave such a wonderful memorable moment and wish the dormitory a pleasant life.
Ermakhan Gabdulkarim, Grade 12:
The dormitory celebration was held at the highest level. Each scene has attracted spectators with its unique appeal. The decor of the Assembly Hall is absolutely wonderful. At night we had a fun atmosphere.
This evening I was struck by some of the hidden talents of some children, especially Erbol’s musical skill. I also saw the great joy of their children during this holiday. I wish you a great success in the school dormitory.
