The performances of Semey intellectuals were recognized as the best

The reports of five students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey were recognized as the best at the republican scientific and practical conference “Armanov Readings-2022”. The conference, held in Shymkent as part of the Rukhani Zhangyru program, is aimed at fostering Kazakhstani patriotism and promoting historical and natural sites. The conference had 3 sections on the topics: “Unique natural objects of the small homeland”, “Historical and cultural heritage of the region”, “The man who left a mark on the history and culture of the region”.

The conference was held at the gymnasium “Arman”. This educational institution, like our school, is included in the list of UNESCO associated schools. The event was attended by a 9th grade student Aiym Tanirbergen with a report on the topic “Unique natural objects of the “small motherland”: Konyr-Auliye and Colonel’s Island”, a 11th grade student Amina Bayasheva – “The Irtysh River and pine forest as natural objects of the city of Semey” (supervisor A. Zhekenova), grade 8 students Aizere Muratkyzy, Aizere Rakhanova (heads: N. Smagulova, K. Omarbekova) – “Historical monuments of Kazakhstan and promising tourist routes” and grade 11 student Yerkezhan Zamanbekova – “Creating a board game “Walks through the literary Semey “(Head S. Ertuganova). “The guys successfully defended their projects,” says one of the leaders, a teacher of Russian language and literature, Aliya Zhekenova.

As a result of the conference, the merits of our students were highly appreciated. All students took 1st place and were awarded the diploma “Best Report”.
