The festival “Tartyl Fest”, which received special support in every region of the country, was also held in Semey. Competitions, in which more than 370 athletes of the region took part, were held in nine categories depending on age and weight.
Askar Zhumabekov, a 10th grade student of our school, who participated in the competition, took the 2nd place in the 70+ kg weight category under 18 years old. As a result, he won a silver medal and a cash certificate.
