An open tennis championship was held among the students of the hostel Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. The competitions were organized by the MD of Tutors and MD of Physical Culture. Before the competition, the parents said parting words to the participants and wished them good luck. The chief referee of the competition acquainted the players with the rules of the game and safety.
Competitions were held in singles among boys and girls, in a round robin system. Prize-winning places of the competitions were determined as follows:
Boys:
1st place – Alemzhan Akhmetzhanov;
2nd place – Adil Sayatuly:
3rd place – Alizhan Kaldybay;
Among girls:
1st place – Aiym Akimbergenova;
2nd place – Dayana Urzakanova;
3rd place – Aida Margaryan;
The winners of the competitions were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts, and other participants were presented with sweets. Similar competitions are planned to be held annually in the traditional form.
