Student of NIS Semey won the “gold” at the International Olympiad

11th grade student of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey Muhammadarif Sakhmoldin won a gold medal at the International Zhautykov Olympiad.
This Olympiad has been held since 2005 with the aim of identifying and supporting gifted children in mathematics, physics and computer science.


It should be noted that from the 15th to the 23rd of February of the current year the XVIII International Zhautykov Olympiad was held in online format. Children from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Russia, the Republic of Belarus, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey, Mongolia, Vietnam, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and India took part in the Olympics.


Our student showed high results as part of the team of AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools”, delighting their teachers. We can proudly note that at the Olympiad students of intellectual schools won 3 gold, 6 silver and 7 bronze medals.
