Polyglot from Semey applied to the University of Hong Kong

Danil Tomilov, a student of the 12th grade of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey received a full grant and the opportunity to study at Lingnan University (Hong Kong). Danil is one of the best students in our school. On the day it became known that the young intellectual became a student of a foreign university.

– I like to work with people. That is why I wanted to study in the field of socio-political science. It also impresses me with the vision and slogan of the university, which show that they are aimed
at working with the public and the development of critical skills of their students. I will be able to work in the civil service or non-governmental organizations, directed to work with the public after graduation. I want to develop in the future in the field of politics, but to take a “minor” in the economy and plan to connect my future with the international economy and politics (as the basis of my knowledge), – said Danil Tomilov.

Our student teaches in a class with Kazakh language of instruction and he is fluent in several languages. Multilingualism helps him to become an active volunteer, teaching English lessons to children from kindergarten. It should be noted that last year 4 of our graduates received grants from the University of Lingnan.
