Intellectual competition strengthened our relationship.

One of the last days of November, there was an intellectual competition “Moment to victory”, aimed at cooperation within the framework of the social project “Heart to Heart” among pupils of the Nazarbayev Intellectual school of Physics and Mathematics in Semey and pupils from the boarding school for hearing impaired children in the city. The competition was held by co-ordinators of Zhidebay and Irtysh Shanyraks, N. Sultaeva and N.N. Orynbekova.
This meeting helped to develop students’ leadership skills, to identify civic responsibility in genuine affirmations, and to emphasize that every younger generation should be indifferent to the fate of another person as part of society.
Pupils of 11 “A”, 11 “B”, 8 “A”, 8 “L” grades welcomed our friends and colleagues from boarding school. They danced flash mob and held an intellectual competition “Moment for Victory”.
The students were divided into four teams by mosaic and competed in such competitions as “We Will Blow It Up”, “Supervisor”, “Pyramid of Cheops”, “The Pilgrim’s Pitch”.
This intellectual competition was very interesting to the students. According to the terms of the competition, each team must complete the task in 60 seconds.
Following the results of the competition, the teams took I, II, III places and memorable notebooks.
Schoolchildren of boarding school for the hearing-impaired children of Semey, who came to our school, shared their impressions and noted that they were happy to have friendly relations.
In this context, Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey, which was established as a novelty of lightning, pays great attention to the high moral values of each individual in creating an intellectual community.
