Semey hosted a charitable Vienna Ball, which is traditionally held by the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Semey.
Active partners in the organization of the ball were NIS regular partners – schools No. 3, 22, 25, 37 and 39, as well as the regional philharmonic society, the House of culture and the Youth Palace.
In the program of the ball included several old dances. Opened the ball in the best traditions of the XVIII century Viennese waltz. In addition, there were polka, minuet and other traditional ballroom dances. Students of 9 to 12 grades of NIS danced in snow-white dresses in arm with cavaliers that looked no less elegant.
During the ball, an auction was held where the sale of handicrafts made by schoolchildren was organized. All funds raised at the auction, which is 259 thousand tenge, were sent to help children with disabilities.
