Vocalists of NIS Semey won the Grand Prix at an international competition

Dayana Makulbaeva and Medina Maksat, students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey, won the main prize of the international competition-festival «Altyn Samruk».
The competition-festival dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence lasted for two days. The best in various nominations were determined at the festival.

– Both of our students are graduates of the vocal studio «Star» of our school. I think that our singers, who have already won various competitions, have a great future. All conditions have been created for this in the school. Both won the Grand Prix of the international competition-festival «Altyn Samruk». In particular, the jury recognized Medina’s talent, presenting her with the highest award of the competition – “GrandPrix“ Recognition ”,” said the head of the studio Ruslan Kasenov.

Note that Medina Maksat, who performed the song «Sen», is in the 8th grade, and Dayana Makulbaeva, the singer of the song «Hurt» – in the 11th grade. The organizers appreciated the work of the head of the studio and presented a letter of thanks to Ruslan Mukhametkalievich for his contribution to the development of the creativity of young performers.
