Pupils of NIS Semey won prizes in the network competition

AEO “Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools” hosted a network competition of projects “Tugan elge tagzym”, which brought a number of victories for the students of the Intellectual School. Anel Kaldarova, an 11th grade student of the NIS PM in Semey, took 1st place in the “Tugan zher – tugyrym” nomination, and Doszhan Kentbekuly, an 8th grade student, took 3rd place in the “Entrepreneurship and the Power of New Ideas” nomination.

– I’ve always liked writing down my thoughts. Creating my own texts, writing essays is my favorite pastime. For this competition, I prepared an essay on the topic of the competition and titled “I am suffocating …”. As a child, I heard a lot from my grandmother about the Kazakh steppe, the heroes of the country, about good and evil. All this constantly strengthened my love for the Motherland. In addition, the history of our region, the life of the leaders of the “Alash” movement always arouses great interest in me. Now we should be grateful to our ancestors and understand that we are happy people, because we live in an Independent country. We must cherish this, work hard to strengthen our sovereignty. In short, the essay is designed to inspire young people to love their homeland, be interested in the past and think about the future, ”says Anel Kaldarova.

It should be noted that the winner of the project was able to build the essay on three time layers: brave heroes of nomadic life, leaders of the “Alash” movement and the young generation of an independent country.
Doszhan Kentbekuly, who took 3rd place in the competition, has developed a mobile application to help parents. This project called “Ata-ana bakylauy” (Parental Control) works by installing GPS on two devices. With this GPS, parents will be able to find out where their child is.

– There are no parents who do not care about the safety of their children. It is impossible to keep the child constantly in sight. And this project can satisfy the demand, i.e. the device not only determines the distance, but also allows you to write to each other. Another advantage of the device is that parents are notified when they move their child a sufficient distance. The mobile application is also equipped with mechanisms to call the relevant services in the event of various emergencies,” said the author of the project, Doszhan Kentbekuly.

It should be noted the work of the scientific leaders of our winners – Kazangapova Asem, Orynbaev Bakhytbek, who were able to support the project participants. In total, 492 students with 331 projects from all Intellectual Schools of the republic took part in the final stage of this network competition.
