The first lesson was held in the creative circle “Art room” for students of grades 7-8 living in the NIS boarding school in Semey. A feature of the “Art room” work is the program of artistic and aesthetic orientation, which assumes an initial level of mastering artistic knowledge and practical skills, nevertheless giving students the opportunity to develop their intellectual and creative potential.
After an introductory conversation about the work plan for the year and safety rules, the head of the circle, M.B. Alibekova. talked about the ways of conveying ideas, intentions in the visual arts with the help of various visual elements and the peculiarities of their use.
The first test exercise for the students was the performance of work on a space theme. The purpose of this task is to form an idea of the beauty of the universe, the surrounding world, as well as to identify the level of compositional and artistic skills. It should be noted that almost all students coped with the task with interest and at a good level. Many works were performed in mixed media, using various materials and techniques.
