Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey released 12th grade students on a new journey. The “graduation party” was held in the school yard in compliance with all sanitary standards and social distance. The event was attended by teachers, as well as parents of alumni. 111 graduates graduated from school and entered adulthood with enthusiasm and 25 of them studied at our school from the first grade.
The principal of the school Bagdan Kaiyrzhanov expressed his sincere congratulations and parting words: “The past two school years have not been easy for students and teachers alike due to the pandemic in the world. But even in this difficult time the students achieved excellent results. The final results of the quality of knowledge also remained at a high level. Dyusengalieva Dilnaz, Kudaibergenov Sagidolla, Zhumabekova Merey and Oralgazieva Elzhana graduated with “Altyn belgi”, and 11 students received a diploma with honors. In addition, the winners and prize-winners of the Republican Olympiads and competitions of scientific projects in various subjects are among these graduates. All this is thanks to hard work, – said Bagdan Toktamysovich.
9 graduates of the school have entered the universities of Hong Kong, Shanghai, St. Petersburg, Prague, 28 students have received invitations to Nazarbayev University. Most of the graduates are still waiting for an invitation to study from prestigious universities in the world.
“At the moment I have mixed feelings, of course I am glad that I graduated from school, but I also do not want to say goodbye, I can’t believe that I will no longer come to school and will not see my favorite teachers and friends. I want to express my deep gratitude to the school and teachers, and wish my friends only success and good luck in adult life!” – the owner of the certificate with honors Kametai Turar shared his emotions.
On this day, students danced a farewell school waltz, sang songs. Teachers and parents said parting words to the graduates, letters of thanks were also handed over to parental committees of classes and active parents.
