Students, teachers and parents of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools AEO met at an online meeting within the Smart Thursday project with the famous wrestler Aibek Nugymarov. The meeting, held on the TEAMS online platform, was very interesting and exciting.
The event was dedicated to a significant date for our country – the 150th anniversary of the famous wrestler, legendary man Kazhymukan Munaitpasov. During the interview, Aibek Nugymarov told about the peculiarities of Kazaksha kures from other types of martial arts, spoke about the latest events in the world of national martial arts.
– I liked the meeting very much, thanks to the organizers, interesting questions were asked, a relaxed atmosphere was created. The questions asked had a lot of meaning and a message for the younger generation. I think everyone took what they needed and I was happy to be of service. I would like to note the joyful fact that AEO Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools was one of the first to propose to introduce such a sport as kazaksha kures into the school curriculum. I hope, together with you, the federation and athletes, we will be able to bring this idea to life in the near future, ”Aibek Nugymarov shared his impressions.
During the meeting, videos about the athlete’s life, his training and sports achievements were shown, the audience asked their questions to the athlete.

Ten-time Kazakhstan champion in Kazaksha Kuresi, four-time world champion, three-time winner of the World Cup, two-time winner of the Kazaksha Kuresi, four-time winner of Eurasia Barysi, three-time champion of the international competition “Alem Barysy”.
