Not long ago, an online meeting of Jastar Talks on the Zoom platform took place with a physics teacher at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey, Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, a graduate of the Bolashak program, Askhat Sovetkhanovich Zhumabekov.
The event was organized by the Department for Work with Youth of the Department of Internal Policy and the Youth Resource Center of the East Kazakhstan region. The meeting was initiated within the framework of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The main topic of the meeting: “Becoming a teacher: the path to success.” Also physics teacher Zhumabekov A.S. shared with the youth of the East Kazakhstan region his formula for success, what basic principles and values he is guided by in everyday life, talked about his approaches to working with children. The speaker shared the results of his students, how they strove to master new knowledge, achieved high results. Conference participants were represented from all over the region of the East Kazakhstan region.
At the end of the main part, the participants asked questions of interest to them, which mainly related to participation in the competition for the award of the international scholarship “Bolashak”. Askhat Sovetkhanovich introduced the new rules, told about the main directions of the program and shared secrets, personal experience of participation. All participants were satisfied with the conversation with the teacher and wished to organize a similar meeting again in the future.
It should be noted that Askhat Sovetkhanovich Zhumabekov is the holder of the title “Best Teacher” of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Nominee for the Global Peace Teacher Prize constantly takes part in such events. So, for example, at the beginning of this year Zhumabekov A.S. took part in the Pedagogical Lounge I meeting of the regional macro-project for Leading Schools “Zhas Kanat”, aimed at supporting young teachers. The idea and concept of the macro-project belongs to the branch of the Center for Pedagogical Excellence. The project partners are the Education Department of the Aktobe region and the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of FMN in Aktobe. “Pedagogical Lounge” – a motivational project – 4 times a year, the Department of Education and the MTC organize meetings with interesting people from the field of education who can inspire young people by their example and charisma.
