The role of the family in raising a child is extremely important. The qualities and foundations of behavior laid down from early childhood remain with a person throughout his life. Upbringing begins in the family. It is in the environment of close, dear people that the child develops as a person, the foundations of his future behavior in society are laid. And although more and more place in our life is given to technical innovations, and education is becoming remote, education, primarily family education, still occupies a dominant role in the formation of a child’s personality.
The online program “We are just a family” for parents and children of the 7th grade has come to an end. Purpose of the program: to create opportunities for emotional rapprochement between parents and children. The meetings consisted of seven sessions: “We are just a family”; “Parents and Children”, “My Roles and Messages in the Family”, “Family Rules”, “Do We Know ourselves and each other”, “Listening to ourselves and others”, the final lesson.
As a result, the participants learned to take care of each other and their loved ones. The course was held in the form of a dialogue. There were exercises from psychologists, the participants performed practical tasks together. The lessons were full of lively discussions, opinions, ideas, thoughts and suggestions.
About seventy families who actively participated in the program were awarded certificates from the school director Bagdan Toktamisovich. The project participants shared their impressions of the program and thanked the school administration.
