Young researchers from the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in the city of Semey distinguished themselves at the republican stage of the competition for scientific projects in general education subjects. Prize 1st place was taken by students of the 12th grade Kudaibergenov Sagidolla and Erezhepov Nurtileu with the project “Mathematical modeling of the operation of a vertical type wind turbine” in the section “Applied mathematics”, 2nd place was taken by students of the 10th grade Serikbekov Magzhan and Maratov Dias with the project “Zherdin ozon alpy in the section “Environmental protection”. According to Sagidolla and Nurtileu, one of the main disadvantages of the wind turbine is instability. The amount of energy delivered will often vary depending on various factors. Therefore, there is a need to create a methodology, thanks to which it would be possible to calculate the exact amounts of energy received after installing the wind turbine.
– The goal of the project was to build a mathematical model that, taking into account many factors (wind speed, weather variability, location of the structure, technical characteristics) and using mathematical calculations, will reflect the behavior of the wind generator in both static and dynamic modes of operation. Thanks to this, we got a descriptive model that not only calculates the amount of energy, but also allows you to increase the efficiency of the structure itself.
The relevance of the joint project of Magzhan and Diaz is also very high. After all, they represent in the form of a model a new theoretical idea of the method for restoring the ozone layer on the earth.
– Science project is dedicated to punching, environmental impact and ozone layer recovery. The Kaz-Ozono-SMJSM-ozonator plant produces Ozone. Ozone gas, produced from the Kaz-Ozono-SMJSM ozone generator, transports the gas through a high-pressure compressor using a Lockheed Martin airship at an altitude of 30-50 kilometers through an ozone tube covered with carbon materials into a smaller part of the stratosphere with a lower ozone concentration – our youngsters note scientists.
We would like to express our deep gratitude to the teachers who prepared the students Andakayeva Aliya, Mametreeva Sana, Talaspaeva Sharipa, Altynbekova Raya and Anibaev Serik.
