An evening of poetry dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the great poet Mukagali Makatayev was held among 7th grade students of the Nazarbayev Intellectual School of Physics and Mathematics in Semey. One of the main goals of the Mukagali readings, organized under the name “Mukagali – Eternal Life”, is to acquaint our students with the works of the poet, to teach young people to love the Motherland, respect humanity and assimilate human qualities through the poems of poetry.
The evening, which was held as part of the online project “100 books”, began with a video about the biography of the poet and continued with a parade of 29 students reciting poems of the poet. During the evening, the giants of Kazakh literature Abish Kekilbayev, Tumanbay Moldagaliev, Abdilda Tazhibayev spoke about Mukagali. Another feature of the evening was the active participation of Russian students in the celebration of poetry and their desire to learn the state language. At the same time, it should be noted that the teachers of the team worked in unison. Teachers of the Kazakh language and literature of our school N.Baibusinova, B.Zhumakhanov, A.Zhaisanbayeva, who took part in the event at a high level, trained our students to read poems in style and style. And the organizers-teachers-curators G.Zhakeyeva, B.Salikhova did not decide until the planning, holding and successful completion of the evening.
During the evening, the poet’s songs “Today is my birthday”, “I have a country”, “Kazakhstan”, “Three happiness”, “Poetry”, “Mother, you are happy”, “Kazakh land”, “I do not write poems for fun” , “Beauties”, “I want to be a baby …” and “9 facts about Mukagali Makatayev” ended with a video. At the end of the evening, participants were awarded and shared their impressions of the evening on the TEAMS platform.
