In our school, as part of the “World of professions” project, a curator hour was held for the 9th grade students on the topic “ The choice of professions is the choice of the future” together with a career guidance counselor – Sandugash Yelyubayeva. She provided information about domestic and foreign educational institutions. In particular, she told for which foreign universities the certificate of Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools is valid, what points must be scored at international exams so that students can enter foreign universities. The 9th graders got acquainted with the information that any profession has its own advantages and difficulties.
Our students previously visited several institutions and enterprises in the city, where they learned about various professions. A reflection was carried out through the game “Web”, during which it was revealed that many of the students had already decided on their future profession. And some have not made a clear decision yet. Therefore, at the conclusion of the meeting, it was concluded that it is important now to decide on the choice of a specialized subject, clearly conduct your time management, and be motivated for educational and professional activity.
